A contiguous pile wall was needed to retain the sand for the carpark excavation and the concrete beam across the top of the wall was used for foundations. |

Oracle, Broadbeach QLD This commercial and residential development includes a multi-storey underground carpark and two multi-storey tower blocks. A pre-existing contiguous wall was used for the carpark of an adjacent building. A Class Piling and Drilling built a second contiguous wall below the level of the first one, to a depth of 12M, to retain sands and waters and enable excavation for the new carpark. |

Ettalong Beach NSW Central Coast This three storey apartment block was built on pure sand in a tight space between adjacent properties Shot-creted contiguous walls were installed prior to the excavation of the underground carpark and the builder was able to excavate to within 1 meter of the neighbouring building without causing damage to that property. |
Dunbogan NSW Mid North Coast This large private home is built on sand. Shot-creted contiguous walls were installed for sand retention in the underground carpark, and adjoining buildings experienced no problems due to the excavation. |
